Character Development

Our choristers love having a SPOOKTACULAR time dressing up as their favorite musical characters and composers for our Music History Night! They learn about different figures from musical history and bring them to life with their creative costumes. What a fun and educational evening! 

Our choristers are making a difference in our community by supporting the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank drive each Thanksgiving!  Thank you for your generosity and kindness. Together, we create a stronger, more compassionate community! 

The Greater Baton Rouge Children's Choir fills the halls of St. James Place with the magic of Christmas each year! Our choristers share the gift of music and holiday cheer, ending with giving out candy canes and smiles that lit up the room. It is a heartwarming celebration of the spirit of Christmas! 

Our choristers are more than singers—they're ambassadors of kindness and compassion! Each year they send Valentine's cheer to all at The Baton Rouge Children's Advocacy Center, spreading love through song, sweetness, and character! 

Each Spring, Greater Baton Rouge Children's Choir presents a delightful afternoon serenading the residents at St. James Place and giving back to the community through the gift of music! At the end of the performance, choristers give out fresh flowers to residents to bring smiles to their faces.
